Power Management - Support for Windows 10?

Currently, the Power Management solution supports management of Windows Power up to Windows 8 according to the documentation here:

Posting this to track on ETR for Power Management to support Windows 10 endpoints.

Support for Windows 10 is on the roadmap. It is tentatively targeted for sometime in Q3 2017, this is tentative and is subject to change.

In fact, it is already possible to use BigFix Power Management with Windows 10. We’ve been using this since later 2016.
For this to work you have to turn off fast startup on Windows 10 computers because, otherwise, the OS will not completely turn off and you won’t be able to turn it on.
Once it is done you will be able to Power Up Win 10 computers from either the context menu or from scheduled WoL.

Many of the fixlets/analyses in the Power Management site have relevance and action script coded specifically for “major version of operating system = version 6”. Yes, Wake-on-LAN, Wake-on-LAN Forwarder, etc. do work when you turn off Fast Startup.

I’ve been finding that (at least some) network devices need a different value for PnPCapabilities in order to Wake-from-Suspend on WoL packet, which I mentioned in another thread. I don’t know whether that was the case for these devices on Win7, but it is on Win10.
