Move the default download folder for Fixlets

Hi,

Can we move the default download folder, currently, “C:\Program Files\BigFix Enterprise\BES Server\wwwrootbes\bfmirror\downloads”? Also, are there any other folder that it would be advisable to move to another drive and so release space on the C drive?

You probably will want to do the following:

  1. Uninstall the BigFix Server.

  2. Reinstall the BigFix Server and choose your other drive.

Here is what is supposed to happen:

  • The server installer will recognize that you used to have the data installed on one drive.
  • It will move all your files to another drive.
  • No data will be lost and it should work fine.

But you might want to grab a backup of your system before you do this, just-in-case…
