I have a redhat server with lots of failed mirrored content. In IBMs documentation it mentions I may need to perform a full clearing of the gatherstate (server mirror). There is no information on how to do this. In theory I should be able to edit or delete bfemapfile.xml and GatherState.xml files as is recommended for relays but since I’m not 100% of the impact, i’m reaching out to you guys. I’m hoping this will solve my mirror request retry options on a subset of the content. If someone knows where mirror logging takes place that would also be appreciate as I can’t find any reference to this anywhere.
Looks like there is a post here with some recommendations:
Shut down the BES Server or BES Relay services.
Clear the contents of this folder: …\BES Server\wwwrootbes\bfmirror\bfsites
I recommend renaming the bfsites folder to ‘bfsites_bkg’ and then creating a new empty folder.
Reset the GatherState.xml file located here: …\BES Server\Mirror Server\Inbox
I recommend renaming the existing file and reinitializing it with the following text:

Not sure where this is coming from and where to clear this. I have pages of failed downloads. The issue is wget pulls down these exes fine. I’m not sure why bigfix is failling these.
No proxy in place and if I wget on the root server it pulls down the bits so the server has access. It’s at the process level that it can’t download them.
