For anyone looking to gather warranty details using Dell’s API, I have created a Fixlet that uses PowerShell and OAuth 2.0 as per Dell’s new requirements of their version 5 API. I cannot take full credit for this Fixlet and Analyses as it was put together by gathering valuable information and previous work from @jgstew, @strawgate along with many others. The task will require you to register with TechDirect and apply for an API Key. Once granted, the API Key and accompanying Secret will be needed for this task. The task will save an XML file to the endpoint which will then be used by the analyses to parse the data.
