After upgrading from 9.2.6 to 9.5.3, the “Right-clicks” menu is not working as it did before.
No matter what I set “MaxComputerSetSize” for, the items only work with 1 device selected. Even a setting of “0” does not change this behavior. “Ping IP(s)” and “Ping Hostname” for example are set for 5, and used to work. When I select more than 1 device in the list, all of the custom menu items are grayed out.
The “ComputerApplicabilityRelevance” appears to be being ignored. For example, the items I have that should only be available for Relays are available for all devices, and Remote Desktop is available for devices that don’t have it enabled.
Is there a hard limit for the number of custom menu items? I’m at 29 right now.
I entered in a PMR for this issue and since this is part of of BigFix Labs there isn’t any support for it, I noticed this in 9.5.2. Having the customizable right-clicks menus make it easier to perform routine tasks. If you have one right-click menu item then the “ComputerApplicabilityRelevance” works, 2 or more it breaks. I am going to enter in an RFE to have this functionality moved out of BigFix Labs or have a core set of right-click menus.
Thanks, I didn’t realize the Right-Clicks were considered part of Bigfix Labs. It is a very useful feature, and I would hate to lose it’s full functionality permanently.
