Clear a Pending Restart after a Reboot?

I’'m attempting to to deploy Internet Explorer 11 to a ton on machines. I’ve noticed a lot of the actions are returning a “Not Relevant” status. Upon further investigation I’m noticing the BigFix Internet Explorer Prerequisite patches that were previously pushed are stuck in a “Pending Restart” state, and these devices have all been rebooted and, it doesn’t clear the status. How do I clear the “Pending Restart” status?

Are these Windows 10 machines or other platforms?

These are Windows 7 machines.

Is there anything left at value PendingFileRenameOperations under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager key of the registry of that machine after reboot?

This value should be cleared automatically after reboot, but I have experienced the case value is not cleared even after rebooted twice.

I’ve checked and that value does not exist

this thread might have some good info - Windows 10 endpoints, 9.2.5.73 - always 'Pending Restart'

And this

I see.
Do you have a key HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Component Based Servicing\RebootPending in the registry after reboot?
