X32 and x64 registries swapped?

I tried asking about this on the Slack but since I wasn’t getting any responses I thought I would try here as well:

Can somebody please confirm whether I’m insane or not? When I do

names of keys of (keys “HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall” of it) of x64 registry

in local QnA I get the keys for the 32 bit registry and when I do

names of keys of (keys “HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall” of it) of x32 registry

in local QnA I get the keys for the 64 bit registry

I spent hours the other day trying to make an analysis that figures out whether a given SQL server install is 32 or 64 bit, and it now seems like BES itself is backwards and that’s why I couldn’t get anything to work, but I can’t shake the feeling that something else is going on here with such a basic thing being backwards.

This is under version 10.0.9.21 if that makes any difference .

I’m the one who is backward, please ignore me.
