WinPCAP, anyone?

Does anyone have a solution for installing WinPCAP 4.1.3? It seems that the 4.1.3 installer no longer has a silent option; there are suggestions online about repackaging it with NSIS; there is also a chocolatey package. Meanwhile, the BigFix-profided fixlet for NMAP includes WinPCAP 4.1.2.

Right now, I’m inclined to fork the NMAP fixlet into one that just does WinPCAP 4.1.2. (The ultimate goal is to install Wireshark.)

That’s what we do – we deploy the version NMap compiles and then deploy Wireshark.

I can look to see exactly how we do it tomorrow
