Hi , i am facing issue windows 2008 R2 VM while starting up besclient service server got hung and not responding but when i hard rebooted and do not start client server it works perfectly fine. not sure what i should check as there is only one VM is having issue and other are working fine.
install / un-install does not help in this case , even verbose logs do not says any error
The BES Client service is setup for Delayed Start, by default. So the OS should be running before the agent is started already. You can try setting the agent to manual startup, and the starting it after the OS looks to be stable. If that still locks up the system, then I would guess the disk is having problems, or overutilized. The primary impact of the agent would be gathering new sites, scanning files and reg keys. If the system locks up from that activity, then anything that does I/O should cause similar problems.
