Windows Point of Sale Site - Not Loading Fixlets/Tasks

I am having issues with Windows Point of Sale External Site loading the newest Fixlets/Tasks.

I have tried clicking Gather in BigFix Console, restarting the Gather service, the main server has rebooted, and also looking through the GatherDB logs I see the last time it has pulled version 165 back in April 13th, but nothing from May 11th - version 166.

Any errors in the gatherdb logs? Also, from the root server, try browsing to the gather URL in a browser and see whether the page can be loaded, and check the site version from the page if it loads.

I’vevseen several recent postings on gather fails. Often it seems a proxy is either blocking the gather, or returning an older copy from the proxy cache, or modifying the content so the signature no longer validates.

The easiest fix looks like configuring the root server to gather via HTTPS rather than HTTP, which is generally better for everyone anyway.

Thank you for the reply. I have enabled the HTTPS setting, but it is still not gathering the newest version. This only seems to have happening to the Windows POS site, as other external sites are gathering properly.

**I have also navigated to the gather site and see version 166 listed there as well.

You’ll probably need to file a PMR then to go into more detailed log tracing.

Spoke with a tech yesterday, with not much help. They have forwarded it on.

In the mean time I have found this error in BESRelay.log when attempting to gather.
