We’re planning to upgrade our server to BigFix 10 from 9.5.x
Will this have an impact on our current Windows 7 clients?
Is it possible to install the BigFix 10 client on a Windows 7 machine?
If not, would it be possible to install a 9.5.x client and have it communicate with a BigFix 10 server?

I’m not sure about installing BF10 client on Win7, but a 9.5 agent can definitely communicate to a 10.x server.
Keeping older clients to support older operating systems is a very common use-case.

As suggested, you can certainly continue to leverage 9.5 Agent versions on your Win7 devices reporting in to a BigFix 10 environment (Root/Relay).
