Anyone working with Windows 365? What is the property or relevance to detect a Windows 365 host?
From the following page -
“Windows 365 securely streams your Windows desktop, apps, settings, and content from the Microsoft Cloud to a Cloud PC. Access a personalized Windows 11 or Windows 10 experience”
If you download Fixlet Debugger and check the following relevance statement:
name of operating system
What you are getting back?
I don’t think there is going to be a lot that helps identify it other than some cloud provider and hardware properties but here are a few ways that will probably help.
- Naming convention - When you setup Provisioning rules in Azure you can determine your naming convention. I would make the naming convention different than your Autopilot or standard laptop/desktop naming convention if you can.
- There is a Cloud Providers Analysis in BES Support that will help you identify it as Microsoft Azure for the cloud provider. If you combine that with the Naming convention or the Model that should be pretty good.
- There is a Cloud Correlation ID Analysis in the BES Support that will correlate the device to an Azure id.
One thing to note is if you use Azure Virtual Machines with AVD i’m not sure that they are going to look any different than a Microsoft Cloud PC other than the naming convention and perhaps some registry keys from autopilot provisioning.
