Windows 10 - 19H1/1903 Agent Support

When we had been testing the 1809 build of Windows 10 we found inconsistent initialization behavior by the BigFix Client Agent until we updated the agent version deployed to 9.5.10. With 19H1/1903 having been available by insider preview/beta for some time, is an updated client agent (or guidance of minimum version) to be expected with the upcoming Windows 10 build release this spring?

Qualification tests of the BigFix Agent on insider preview/beta versions of Windows10-19H1 are ongoing, and support is tentatively scheduled to be announced in the May time-frame.

One question: before upgrading to 9.5.10, what version of the BigFix Agent was running on the Win10-1809 computers?

At the time we were using the 9.5.7 agent. Some endpoints it would install and function as normal and others it would get stuck doing registration and never move on.

Thank you for replying.

I double checked on the official documentation, and can confirm that 9.5.8 is the lowest version of BigFix supporting Win10-1809, as reported here.

As concerns 9.5.7, it supports Win10 only up to Creators Update, as documented here.

Microsoft officially released 1903 on May 21 – when can we expect an announcement of what minimum agent build will be officially supported? We are waiting on this to provide zero-day support of the new OS for our customers.
