I’m curious Why a fixlet stating Windows updates is disabled??? You want people to use Big Fix don’t you???

Does Big fix rely on any windows updates features???

Hi ktm,

The BigFix Agent doesn’t need Windows Update features at all… I think we made that Fixlet a very long time ago at the request of a customer… I wouldn’t mind asking the Fixlet team to remove it, but I would be worried that someone was using it for some reason…

We found that we could not apply MS Patch fixlets to Win2k8 systems without the service running. The patch requires it to be running for some reason.
