Hello I am trying to setup the email server setting in the bigfix web report but still getting the same error.
The Wintel team typically provides the SMTP server configuration, but you can also check with your AD team.
To check if communication is open for your specified SMTP server, you can telnet to it on port 25 or, if there is another port associated with it, on that port as well.

Would echo @vk.khurava. Check with your main admins for the correct configuration. Its possible they do not permit unauthenticated SMTP connection (open mail relay connections) and/or you need to use a secure connection or have your devices IP whitelisted to permit unauthenticated connections.
