Where is 2012 R2 update (KB2883200)? How do I download into BigFix for deployment?

Looks like the content team hasn’t quite made it to KB2883200 yet. But this content piece should be covered eventually since it looks like KB2883200 is a critical update (

If you can’t wait for the content team to provide the official content, here’s a relevance piece that might help if you want to create your own version of this patch:

(number of (elements of ((set of (if (exists key “HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Component Based Servicing\Packages” of native registry) then elements whose (it contains “KB2883200” AND it does not contain “") of ((set of ((substrings before “~” of substrings after "for” of names of keys whose (name of it contains “for_”) of key “HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Component Based Servicing\Packages” of native registry) as uppercase))) else (nothing))))) < 1)

But keep in mind this piece of relevance doesn’t check for prereqs for the patch or anything like that. All it does is check to see if Windows has installed this before.

Hi,

KB2883200 is a rollup update for the new OSes. There are 3 KBs included in one release.

The content will be available in IEM by 8 Nov, 2013.

The English content is available in site version 1861.
