Where does Bigfix look to find the OS type?

In my Bigfix console, my windows 7 system shows up with it’s “OS” reporting “Unknown 6.1.7601”. i have other systems with Win7 that show up fine, but for what ever reason this one doesn’t.

computer properties report the following

OS - Unknown 6.1.7601

Full OS Name - Microsoft Windows 7 Professional

What does bigfix use determine the OS version?

You need to upgrade your BES Client:
