Where can i get new version client

i have installed bigfix enterprise 6.0 and deploy the client which i got when i installed the server.the version of the client is a little old now . how can i get a new version client without using fixlet update?

Hi bigbao,

To get your BES Client installer updated you can run the Fixlet in the BES Support site called “Updated BES Installation Folders Now Available!” in the BES Support site. This Fixlet will update all the BES component installers and then you can use them to install the BES Client at the latest version and avoid needing to run the update Fixlet post installation.

i tried as your advise but the fixled failed.

all the command completed as following

Hi bigbao,

You can download that file manually and run it on the computer and see if it upgrades or gives some sort of error.

I find the windows intstall server in my bigfix server failed to start, so i plan to reinstall the server .but i m afraid if i reinstalled how can i recover my custom task , baseline and action which are so many?

Hi bigbao,

In BES 6.0 and above, you can right-click on custom Fixlets/Tasks/Baeslines/Properties and export to a file. This will let you manually backup your custom work if you are worried it might be lost.
