What was the last version of Relevance debugger for BES 6

(imported topic written by SystemAdmin)

Was there any other releases of QNA and Relevance debugger for BES 6? The last one I had was 6.0.15.7.

I seem to have discovered that the “DNS name” inspector isn’t in that version of QNA/RD. It works in the 7.0 version, but I’m trying not to use that version of QNA/RD until we get our server up to 7.0.

Hey Paul,

This version of the Relevance Debugger uses the same engine as 6.0.15.7:

I am not sure why you have seen any issue with “dns name”… that inspector has been around since BES 1.0.

Yeah, the inspector in fixlets is working fine. But when I try “DNS name” in and 6.0 release of QNA/RD (even the one you posted), I’m getting…

“Error: No inspector context.”

…But the 7.0 QNA/RD is working fine. I tried this on a few PCs with the same result.

Ah… Yes… when you see “Error: No inspector context”, it is a confusing way of saying “The BES Client needs to evaluate this and QnA doesn’t have enough information to evaluate this relevance.”

You would get this error in many cases that require knowledge that the client has in-memory during run-time.

In the case of the “dns name”, I believe it was originally implemented to require the BES Client to be running, but then we changed it to be possible to run in QnA.

In any case, it should work with any version of the BES Client.

I might just have to give up on that one for the time being. I do have both the BES client running, as well as the console. Still no luck. I guess I’ll have to debug this one in the 7.0 QNA/RD for now.
