What User Installed An Application

Wondering if there is a way to query an application - either registered or unregistered to see

what user installed it. (ie. if Installed by Administrator or Not)

I’ve thought about regex-ing the event log for servers although that may be tricky.

Is there a file attribute that gets set when applications are installed that I can query for?

Hi Jim,

I don’t know for sure, but my guess is that it might be possible for MSIs but probably not possible for all installer types…
