Does anyone have an idea of how to hex an action parameter query? I want to set a VNC Password for my users pc’s but want to be able to input the password when the fixlet is deployed… I dont even know if this is possbile.

You should avoid using BigFix to set passwords. See these threads:

Hello,

I used a tool called WinInstaller LE (It’s Free) to create a msi file for VNC. Contained within the msi was the password we used.

Make sure you read page 2 of the thread I posted above:

As you can see, embedding the password in an MSI or even in a compiled binary designed to obfuscate the password is still insufficient to prevent a determined individual from learning the password. If you only care about the average user, then go ahead and use such a solution. That said, BigFix does not recommend distributing passwords in any form through BES.
