What is the path of the Upload directory

Hi,

I’m trying to find the location of the Upload directory that files created with the Solaris Package Deployment Wizard stores the patch zip files. I’m interested in this information for a Linux Root Server

I’m not sure of the answer for the Linux server, but I can provide some answers for a Windows Root.

If a file is uploaded by the client to the root, it should go here by default:

C:\Program Files (x86)\BigFix Enterprise\BES Server\UploadManagerData\BufferDir\sha1

Things uploaded to the root server through wizards typically go here by default:

C:\Program Files (x86)\BigFix Enterprise\BES Server\wwwrootbes\Uploads

Obviously the absolute paths will not be correct in all cases, and definitely not on a Linux root, but this should give you a general idea of the relative paths to look for.

I was having a problem with files seemingly disappearing, and I wanted to check to see if my hypothesis was right.

Unfortunately, I don’t have access to the server itself, so tracking down files on the server can be a nightmare…
