What happened to the old Filesystem and Registry objects pages

(imported topic written by SecurityMG)

What the heck did IBM do with these pages ?

Filesystem Objects -
Tivoli Endpoint Manager - Filesystem objects

https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/mydeveloperworks/wikis/home/wiki/Tivoli%20Endpoint%20Manager/page/Filesystem%20objects?lang=en

Registry Objects -
Tivoli Endpoint Manager - Registry Objects

https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/mydeveloperworks/wikis/home/wiki/Tivoli%20Endpoint%20Manager/page/Registry%20Objects?lang=en

These and other links on the old pages were EXCELLENT resources, now all the features/options pages are gone ?

What the heck ?

It’s a poor substitute, but until the information appears on the Wiki, …

http://support.bigfix.com/inspectors/Filesystem%20Objects_Sol.html
or
http://support.bigfix.com/inspectors/Filesystem%20Objects_Any.html

and

Sadly this is reoccurring problem with developerworks.

Documentation is something that really should have a 99.999% SLA. No matter how great a platform if it can’t meet this basic requirement, it shouldn’t be used. We all depend on it, because when you have an internal crisis you need to be able to address it and the documentation is one of the basic parts of our toolkit.

The link that was provided by Tim.Rice is actually the official IBM Endpoint Manager Inspectors Reference Guide. The inspector content was pulled out of devWorks three months after the release of IBM Endpoint Manager version 9.0. Apologies for not sending any migration notifications about this.

You can find the links to the platform and MDM inspectors from here:
https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/community/wikis/home?lang=en#!/wiki/Tivoli%20Endpoint%20Manager/page/Inspector%20Documentation

It can get pretty challenging to manage the wiki as the URLs are quite dynamic. I would suggest using the tags and search feature if you find any broken links. With the recent SMC migration and restructuring of the wiki, we’re hoping that the Search feature yield better results.
