Webui login fails for all users

The WebUI interface has initialized, but no users may login.

The error message I get is:
“Access to WebUI application forbidden”. Click here to return to Login page.

Browser is chrome, the certificate is not trusted.

All users are Master Operator (for now).

Suggestions?

Also, where is the “httpd”-like error message log?

Thanks

Have you verified within the BES console that these operators have permissions to the WebUI applications? You can also check the “login.log” under the WebUI installation path. The screenshot below is from one of my RHEL/DB2 BES instances.

Hope this helps.

As @cmcannady suggested, Please cross check the permission from BigFix Console if you have permission for all the WebUI app,
further you can also cross check log file to narrow down the issue
C:\Program Files (x86)\BigFix Enterprise\BES Server\WebUI\logs

Thanks for the replies.

I did do something - but it feels like all that was is wait even more. Do note that I had already waited for the message to end that WebUI was initiating (it does not give a login before that).

Anyway, I activated the BesPlugin “service” - fixlet #708 from memory, and cannot get on a console to verify I have that, and also filled in the details for the REST API. And then it worked.

So, is there a dependency on the plugin service, or the REST API ( that seems to need the plugin service before the task becomes relevant)?
