Web Report

I need to generate a graphical report for eg. which shows that out of our 100 WinXP PC’s and in enterprise security category this much percentage of PC’s are vulnerable and needs to be patched. Lets say I have 100 winXP PC and it is distributed in 5 locations and total patches which can deployed are 100 on those PC’s, so what percentage of PC requires patch to become fully patched and it should be location wise.

Hi akm,

Try to go to the “Overview” page in web reports… and use the “Filter” option to select the computers and Fixlets you would like and you should get some reports that show you what you are looking for.

Dear Ben,

I need a overall overview of vulnerability in my setup and that too in graphical format, but the bigfix gives us a excel based report which is not relevant from management perspective.

E.g: out of our 100 winXP pc’s 50 pc’s require some kind of either windows patch or security patch so in the graph it should show us that 50% is the overall vulnerability in our setup and as when we start deploying these patches this percentage starts decreasing. This should be OS and location wise.

Hi akm,

Yes. Try the instructions I sent you above and you should get the graphical overview that you are asking for. You can filter by-location if you want to see specific sets of computers.
