I have a VMware client I am performing some fixlets on. Even thought the VM is relevant to my fixlet it’s not showing under ’ Applicable computers’. The relevance is 100% as I have ran the qna directly on the machine which returns the correct results.
I’ve done the usual of rebooting, refreshing the machine within BES console but it still doesn’t appear.
There shouldn’t be any issue running the BES Client in a VM. Are any fixlets showing up relevant for this client in the BES Console? If so, are they from the same site as the fixlets that aren’t showing up? If you are a non-master operator, you may not have rights over that system so it will not get any custom content that you create.
Also, you can check the BES Client logs to see if it is having any problems reporting back results or downloading new content. They are under C:\Program Files\BigFix Enterprise\BES Client__BESData__Global\Logs, by default.
