Visual Studio patch is getting failed with exit code 8010 and 1003 this is new error code Do we have any idea about this error code
Please note that the exit codes are almost always codes kicked back from the MSI installer. MSI Error 8010 usually indicates a file permission issue. Since BigFix runs as the system user, it is unlikely a permissions issue, however an A/V product could be blocking access to execute the updater.
I recommend trying to run the updater on the system itself and see what error you receive when you do that.

I would try googling “MSI ERROR” 8010 1003 Visual Studio
What error do you get when you try and manually install the patch?
