Using TEM to deploy a .spb package?

I have a .spb package that was created for Tivoli provisioning manager that i would like (if possible) to deploy in TEM. I found some info from KB 1804 but was hoping to get more details from someone that may have done it before. I dont have any experience with these file types and was wondering how the deployment will differ from a typical software distribution (.exe or .msi file).

Try the Manage Software Distribution Packages Dashboard. You can work with the spbs there. It is pretty self-describing.

It also offers you some managability, depending on how your spb was created. We are also working on implementing TPM spbs. The wizard options are a bit different then those for an MSI or EXE. Also, uninstalling the spb is different (there are fixlets for that). I am still trying to udnerstand that part of the procedure myself.
