How can i exclude certain file types? ie .jpg, .mp4, …mov
I read I could use an exclude .xml file but is that the best way?
Any recommendations?
Thanks in advance

You need to be a lot more specific on what you are trying to do here. In an action? fixlet? session relevance?
Yes in a fixlet, I have the user state capture happening. Problem is, I dont want to pull the end users pictures, movies, etc. from their machines when doing the capture.
What are you using for user state capture?
Is this content provided by BigFix OSD? Or is this custom content?
You may need to consult the docs for the user state migration tool you are using.
Yes… it is. USMT is what I am using. OK that is where i saw create the exlude/include xml.
Thank you
I’m sure there are others using this same tool that might be able to help, but your question definitely has more to do with USMT itself, not BigFix, but once you get USMT to do what you need, I can definitely help with the implementing that with BigFix. I generally recommend using create file
in bigfix actions for config files.
