Upgraded to 10.0.5 cannot see patch policy edit anymore

Hey Bigfix! Did the upgrade to 10.0.5, all smooth. However, after I suspend my policy, I then navigate to Manage Patch Policy -> Edit, the next screen comes up blank. I’ve tried FireFox and Edge, same result. Thoughts?

If I create new, it’s fine. Not so when I use and existing policy. Interesting.

Please file a support ticket with this. This issue has been discovered internally as well. Only affects existing patch policies, not new ones. I have linked this forum post with the internal discussion of this same issue.

JG, Thank you. I’ll do that.

We don’t think this affects patch policies that were last edited within the past few months, but would affect any patch policy last edited before that point. That is not for certain though.

Hello mleaphar,

We’re currently working on a fix to this issue and hope to have this fixed and published soon. In the meantime, please try this workaround:

  1. Go to the edit policy page which did not load correctly. It should have a URL like
    https://myserver/autopatch/next/policy/1/edit

  2. Edit the URL by removing the ‘next’ part. The new URL should look like
    https://myserver/autopatch/policy/1/edit

  3. Going to this new URL should load the previous version (before December 2021) of the Patch Policy edit page.

  4. Press the “Save” button on the upper right hand corner of that page.

  5. The policy should be fixed. Going to the normal autopatch pages like
    https://myserver/autopatch/next/policy/1/edit
should now work. You do not need to edit the URL for normal use of Patch Policies, except to fix other Patch Policies that exhibit the same error.

Let us know if this works for you!

Is there an update on this issue? The workaround provided did not work on our environment. Thanks
