I have recently upgraded our BigFix server and consoles from 9.1.1117 to 9.2.2.29 in our deployment. After the upgrade our BES Installer folders contain the 9.2.2 version of the deployment tool, however the only available fixlets for upgrading relays/client will only upgrade to 9.2.1. As far as I can see, we are synced with the current version of the BES Support Site (v1204). Are the 9.2.2 client/relay upgrade fixlets available anywhere else or will I need to create a custom fixlet to upgrade the rest of my deployment?
I believe the latest relay version is 9.2.1 and the latest client version is also 9.2.1
I have 9.2.2 clients right now. The client deploy tool updated when I ran the upgrade fixlet to 9.2.2. I checked the version info on the installer just to make sure. Also checked client versions when they reported into the server.
It’s not a major issue because the 9.2.2 clients will still report through the 9.2.1 relays. I would just like to get all version numbers matching.
We did not release 9.2.2 Client fixlets as the 9.2.2 release was a server only release. The Installation Generator currently (unfortunately) packages a client release in it as it builds and thus you got the 9.2.2 Windows Client there. But the absence of fixlets is intentional.
