Updates for Windows Applications Extended - TeamViewer > Exit code 2

Hi,

We’re using Patch Policy to deploy 3rd party updates.
For long time we are having issues with TeamViewer updates, after my investigation, I found out that the fixlet for updating TeamViewer does not include x86 version and tries to install the x64 version where x86 version is installed.

Will version x86 be added to the fixlet?

I had this same question for a different app (winzip) and was told that the scope for “Extended” site is x64 but if there is specific need/justification they would be willing to listen and possibly make an exception (they did for WinZip due to the scale and the complexities around it). My suggestion is to log your case/need as an idea and then see to escalate it through your HCL rep/support contacts to see if you can push it through.

The relevance has been fixed so that it is only applicable on x64bit and we are looking to add 32bit teamviewer as soon as possible since it is a pretty common application, that said, we do prefer 64bit software as the default when available.
