Update Mac OS X Client - IBM BigFix Version 9.2.11 Does not work

Hi Guys.

We used to be able to do push updates to our Mac devices. But after last week, I’m unable to do any push updates on the Mac’s. Any advise?

Thank you.

Richie

What happens when you try? Is the issue that they’re not reporting in? Can you provide some more details, and screenshots if possible?

Thank you for the reply.

I was able to deploy the 9.2.10 Client update for Mac OS X.

This week, I was trying to upgrade the Client’s to 9.2.11.

0.00% Fixed (0 of 14 applicable computers)

Failed: 14 100.00%

BESAgent-9.2.11.19-BigFix_MacOSX10.6.pkg

Are you still able to run other actions on these Macs? What is the name of the fixlet you’re running to install the update? Can you post a screenshot of the results on one of the failed computers? You can get to that by clicking Actions -> [name of the action you took] -> Computer tab -> Double click the computer. That will tell you which line of the ActionScript failed.

Sorry, no luck. I still can’t update any of my Apple products on BigFix.

I assume your BES agent is still working after the upgrade failure, if so collect the agent log on one of the failing computer. Fixlet 353 “TROUBLESHOOTING: Run BES Client Diagnostics”

Or, If you have access to one failing MAC please collecte the latest agent log just after a failing upgrade. See files at path:
