Unrecognized FilldB error

I have a 2 different series of errors in my Filldb logs that I can’t seem to work out what they mean. I haven’t noticed any issues so i’m not positive whether they should warrant a ticket or not. Has anyone else seen these FillDB errors?

Tue, 02 Aug 2022 05:38:40 -0700 – 7324 – Unable to parse chunk of compressed file in buffer; discarding chunk. (Bad analysis line for computer with ID (14,062,568) and name (ComputerName). Last analysis line id: 9)
Tue, 02 Aug 2022 05:38:40 -0700 – 7324 – Encountered at least one error while processing archive file E:\BES Server\FillDBData\bufferdir\0000000001113cf4 in buffer; the archive was processed, but at least one part of it was discarded.

Tue, 02 Aug 2022 23:44:19 -0700 – 6260 – Unable to parse chunk of compressed file in buffer; discarding chunk. (Client report has no verified signer. Discarding message from computer 1626728048)
Tue, 02 Aug 2022 23:44:19 -0700 – 6260 – Encountered at least one error while processing archive file E:\BES Server\FillDBData\bufferdir\0000000001151a8c in buffer; the archive was processed, but at least one part of it was discarded.

This means that FillDB is throwing away reports (or parts of them) - so while it might be hard to detect the issue - its still very much worth investigating.

This is a large topic to cover here in a forum post, so I’d encourage you to open a support case.
