Hi,
We are using BES Client Version 7.2.1.357
In our BES console more then 100 PC are showing as Unknown 6.1.7600 under OS category.
I have searched the forum it ask for upgrade of BES Client version.
Is there any other option besides upgrading like patch.
If upgrade is the only solution from where can we download the upgraded version & by when it will be available.

If you’re using BES 7.2.1 then it is likely those are Server 2008 boxes or something similar (Win7 maybe too). There are BigFix upgrade jobs already in the console. The latest is called “Updated Windows Server and/or Console - Tivoli Endpoint Manager version 8.1.551.0 Now Available!”. Read the details in the action before running it though.

If you want to stay in the 7.2 family then just use: (you should be able to just roll the client out but of course test it first)
BES Support:
Windows 7 / Windows Server 2008 R2 is only supported on the latest 7.2 BES Client! (ID 699)
The 7.2.5.22 added support for these OSes
