Hi Team,
May I ask a question?
Im searching for this Patch for Linux “Sudo version 1.8.28” and located it here: https://www.sudo.ws/ it was release early this october.
Now when I go to the Oracle Repository “http://yum.oracle.com/repo/OracleLinux/OL7/latest/x86_64 ” i couldn’t see it there.
Please help. THank you
Best Regards,
Pogi
Greetings.
In this case, you will need to reach out to the vendor to get information as to when they will release a patch for this CVE.

Greetings also.
What do you mean by that Sir? Im a little bit confused.
Should we contact the Oracle when are they going to release the Patch?
Thank you for quick response Sir.
Best Regards,
Pogi
@Pogi ,
That is correct. As @MattMangan indicated, the patch being published in the BigFix external patch sites has a prerequisite of the vendor (i.e. Oracle in this case) releasing the patch for their operating system. Once the vendor has released the new patch, then the BigFix content build SLA goes into effect.
