I keep looking for a Bigfix.me Fixlet for Uninstalling Office 2013 (Yes I know we are behind, we are primarily a Google shop), but all the fixlets I find are superseded and contain dead Microsoft links. Currently using Bigfix Inventory to determine Office Usage to reduce footprint, so when 2013 is EOL (April 11, 2023) we know the exact endpoints that might need upgrade. I have yet to find a way to uninstall Office 2013 cleanly for endpoints showing no usage. Any Help would be greatly appreciated
The general approach for uninstalling is to discover the product’s uninstall string, then build fixlets that [a] use relevance to target whether it is installed, and then [b] actionscript that runs the uninstall string. Office complicates this because there are many variants, let along “viewer” things that float around.
