"Uninstall vm manager tool" does not exists in Bigfix console For BFI

Customer is not able to see “Uninstall vm manager tool” in Bigfix console.
All the relevance property is true for that task.

What could be the reason ?

Who is able to see the task to confirm “All the relevance property is true for that task”?.

If only some can see the task, it could be due to role/permissions, or the task could be hidden. Right click on the task and check the hide/unhide options.

Yes all the relevance property is true for that task.

But how can we see the hidden option if task is only not applicable in console ?

  • Does the customer have at least Reader access to the “BigFix Inventory” site? They should see other Tasks & Fixlets in the site.

  • Does the customer have Operator management rights to a computer that has the VM Manager tool installed (the endpoint should report Applicable for the task)?

  • Have the operator click the “Show non-relevant content” option in the Console and check whether the Task is now visible

I have checked manually on that server where Vmman.bat file is available which is in root server.

Have you checked these options for “Show Hidden” and “Show Non-Relevant” ?

yes, I have checked these option its not available their.

Has a Master Operator marked the task as “Globally Hidden”? That would prevent a standard operator from seeing the task, even if they selected “Show Hidden Content”.

It would need to be unhidden by a Master Operator - but it’s probably been hidden for good reason, a standard operator should probably not be managing the VM extenders.
