Unable to login into Web UI Console

Hi Guys,

Whenever I’m trying to login into WebUI console it’s giving error that.
"Could not connect to the BigFix database.

If the issue persists, contact your BigFix Administrator for assistance."

Please help to login into the console.

@JasonWalker Can you please help me in above mentioned issue?

Try leaving the port empty, and check with the SQL instance that it’s actually configured to use the static 1433 port (the default), and if that doesn’t resolve it please open a support ticket so the team can work with you on your configuration.

Have you seen such kind of issue earlier??

I’ve not seen myself, but I read this can be caused if SQL is configured to use a dynamic port and is not actually set to use 1433

Actually what version of BigFix / WebUI is this running?

It’s 9.5 evaluation version I’m using for testing.

My production version is 9.2 fir which it is not applicable I.e. going on higher version I’m testing & exploring the features.
While exploring I came across to bigfix self service application. But it’s through in error while I logins.

And if you leave the port empty?

Try leaving the port number empty or use the Fixlet to change the database configuration instead of the web interface.
