On a specific linux agent we can’t execute the task "Install or upgrade scanner"
If we try to use the other task “Uninstall scanner” this agent is not available there also.
We try to delete this agent from the database and reinstall it but when he come back the situation stay the same.
Is the endpoint in question subscribed to the site that has the “Install or upgrade scanner” task?

If the endpoint is subscribed to the Inventory/ILMT site in question, then you can test the relevance statements for the install scanner fixlet using the QNA tool on the target Linux endpoint (i.e. /opt/BESClient/bin/qna). Simply test each relevance statement to determine which are returning false as those would be why it won’t install.

There is also a Troubleshooting Fixlet (ID: 15) which will create an analysis to help in these situations.
