Unable to identify Assets

Hi,I have run Nmap scan for identifying un managed assets but after running I am able to identify only few un managed assets. It is unable to identify all. Please let me know how to identify all the un managed assets with in specified ip address range.

Define “Identify” please.

NMAP makes a “Best Guess” at the OS of the remote system.

Identify- Which I am able to view on the console.

Actually when I run this scan on my local network, I am getting few systems from the network and I am unable find few more system which are present in the network and I am able to ping those systems which is not displaying in the console after the scan.
