Trying to install Agent on Ubuntu and Debian

Hi,

I used the client deployment wizard, fixlet, and even the legacy client deployment tool to install the BigFix agent on Ubuntu 22.04 and Debian 12; I found some machines accepted the agent and installed successfully, and some gave me errors. The scripts cannot guess the target OS.

So, what may cause that? I double-check the firewall and port 22 is opened.

Which BigFix Client version you are trying to Install? And which Client Deploy Tool are you using?

Thank you for your support and cooperation.

I am currently using BF version 11.0.5, and I have already pushed the agent to 15 machines (Ubuntu 22.04 and Debian 12). Ten machines successfully deployed the agent, but the remaining five are giving me an error.

If this is a bug, it should be reported on all machines. So, the agent used to detect the OS version, which I know is 22. Are there any other ports?
