Time Change & Patch Policy

I have never noticed this before until this patching cycle. Today when a patch was supposed to kick off at 10 a.m EST. (3 p.m. UTC) it kicked off at 11 a.m. EST. Looking at the conversion it is 11 a.m. EST, looking back at Feb for the same patch policy, it kicked off at 10 a.m. EST with the same 3 p.m. UTC.

From what I see is that I have to change all of my patch policies to an hour earlier in order to keep it on the same schedule that is was in the Fall Back? Has something changed or I just was not observant enough?

Is this a normal action you issued, or is it sent by the Patch Policy App in WebUI?
I’d like to see the action settings or the schedule. Each should have an option to select whether to use “Client Local Time” or “UTC time”.

It’s most likely due to daylight saving time!

Hi Jason, this was sent by the WebUI. I am attributing it to the time change but I never had to do this before OR just did not notice because it was only an hour.
