There is no fixlet to install the WAS

Hello,

I’m now doing a testing to deploy, install and config the WAS using the IEM for SA.

I find the fixlet to manage the WAS. However there is no fixlet to install the WAS.

So I have to deploy WAS using Software Distibution and install WAS silently.

I want to know whether will the fixlet of install WAS be updated in next version or not.

Hi,

We’d expect a task to install WAS to be in a release after the next platform release next year.

Hi…yes a fixlet will be provided after the 9.x release of the platform to install WAS on Linux and Windows with all install options available. Other content for WAS and DB2 that require secure parameters will be delivered in the same timeframe.
