Tema service fails to start with 1069

We use BigFix SCA running on Windows. As our password for the user running tema service has recently expired (and now been resetted) tema service is still not starting due to “System error 1069 has occurred.The service did not start due to a logon failure”.

Any ideas about this?

Did you update the account password in the Services applet after you changed the password? It should be in the Service Properties - Log On tab.

Also, if the password was Reset, check that the user account is not flagged for “User must change password on next logon”.

Hi, thanks for your help. Setting the new password in services was the missing step.
