: I’m looking to deploy TEM (8.2.x) in our environment and I’m thinking through how we’re going to do the user management piece of it. We want to use AD auth for Console Operators and for Web Reports users, but I’ve not seen the option in TEMA (1.1.7) for enabling AD users. It looks like you can import local users from Web Reports, but not the AD users.
Has anyone found a way to get TEMA users authenticated via AD? If not, does anyone know if it’s in the roadmap? I’d like to avoid having to create and manage a whole separate pool of users just for one aspect of the tool.
Well, it looks like I answered my own question. I was just reading through the IBM Redbook for Endpoint Security and Compliance Management Design Guide (

) and on page 88, it states that AD/LDAP authentication is not currently available for the Analytics website.
If anyone could provide insight into when/if this functionality will be available or if it’s in the roadmap I’d appreciate it.
