Syslog Connector? Splunk

Hi All,
Splunk has an App for Bigfix that talks about a Bigfix Syslog connector which will forward syslogs. “https://apps.splunk.com/app/407/”

IBM did not know what I was talking about when I called about syslogging with Bigfix. Does anyone have experience with this? The rest of the forums and subsequent Google searches say no. Does Bigfix store syslog information somewhere or can I get it to?

Any help is appreciated.

I thought the app used the api to get the information

I’ve used the app, it does in fact use the API to pull the BigFix data, in my case from Web Reports. It was designed for BES 7 or 8, and I haven’t really found it to be all that useful yet.
