We are performing health check scans from BigFix tool, our client is having couple of questions on Sybase scans, can you help us to answer below questions
- Sybase Connection String (server/port#)
Where is this being configured to ensure full inventory scanned? Is each db connection string configured in the tool or is it run from host with Sybase client using an interfaces file ? If new Sybase instance created, how is scan aware? Is it expected that new instances be added to IEM tool or does an interfaces file need to be maintained?
- IEM Sybase Connectivity/Process Account/PW
3)How is tool configured to retrieve ID/PW for each instance (including Corp, AIS, SSGA)?
- Is it designed to use corporate Cloakware env and then retrieve same ID and its PW per instance ?
