When i run the initiate software scan it says complete but upload does not takes place why ?
But this scenario is not with all systems few uploads few does not.
When i take bunch of machines with not uploaded systems and deploy initiate software scan as policy by applying 4- 5 times the upload happens .
But what i think , this is not the way it should .
Any suggestion !!
@swap041
As the name of the fixlet states, completed = scan was initiated
It can take several hours on some machines with large file systems to complete
Hope that helps
Hey @michalpaluch
Thanks …Now i checked the analysis of Software Scan status and I found the list of machines on which the scanner was not happening shows:
In Status of Scan for Software Identification Tag Files – it shows Failed processing (return code: 8)
What would be the reason of this error. Is there any link for SUA scan error code as i can see multiple error code available: Like
Failed processing (return code: 1)
Failed processing (return code: 2)
Failed processing (return code: 5)
Failed processing (return code: 6)
I ran the Diagnostics logs on Machine having Failed processing (return code: 8) but no errors were found Initiate scan and upload ran with exit code =0 .
Please suggest… As the error is reflecting for 4000 machines
