Split OS Patches and Product Patches on Patches for Windows external site

We want to install only the Operating system security patches on our Windows servers.
We identify the security patches by the “category” information, but we want to know how to identify the Product Patches (Sharepoint, SQL Server, …) in order to exclude them and install only the OS Patches.
How can we select only the OS Patches without the product patches?
